David Amponsah Boakye a counselor and research officer in HIV/AIDS has revealed that, sweat is a major symptoms of HIV/AIDS .
He made this known in an interview with health digest news today .
He continued that because the blood is always fighting with the virus which multiply faster after breaking the immune system into the body sweat therefore becomes the immediate result for such reaction.

Amponsah boakye said, that there is an incubation period. and this is the state of initial infection which starts from the period of three weeks to six months.

The research officer continued that,1/10 of men who sleep with HIV/AIDS infected women may not be infected except there is a cut on the penis before he can be infected. This is because the virus cannot survive on the skin for over 3 minutes, but they only survive in the blood of live creatures such as human beings , cow,goats etc.
An infected man however spreads it to any lady he sleeps with .
He elaborated that,It is therefore not true that if a male partner is infected, the female would not be infected: this means that any woman whose male partner is infected has a higher probability of testing positive.but it can be vise versa ,which is a female partner can be infected and the male will not be infected.

Amponsah Boakye said, research has revealed that the virus can only survive for 3 minutes without live creatures(human beings , cow,goats etc.) after which they die and this means they can not survive in saliva, food, water,or any other metallic object such as blade, razor, knife etc.Beyond 3 minutes.

To this end the research officer advised that AIDS is easily prevented and treated when people get to know their status .
and therefore advised that every body should know their status in order to aid early treatment . people should bare in mind that if any one is positive , except there is an exchange of blood the virus can not be easily transmitted.
