Cases Of Unsafe Abortions Occur On University Campuses Yearly in Ghana
A survey conducted by the National Union of Ghana Students (NUGS) in 2008 indicated that in every campus across the country at least three cases of unsafe abortion occurred every year.
HIV National Assemssment… 77% Female Tested Positive
The Minister of Health, Hon Joseph Yieleh Chireh has said that, from January-June 2011, 27,988 people were tested HIV positive. He said female’s form 77% of the total individuals. He made this known yesterday in Accra when his ministry had their turn of the meet the press series organized by the Ministry of Information.
MAB INT. HOSPITAL REGISTERS 400 CHILDREN ON THE GHANA NATIONAL HEATH INSURANCE SCHEME

Mab medical care has registered 400 children on the Ghana national health insurance scheme(NHIS) last week, during the lunching of their new ultra modern clinic , known as the mab international hospital at kwashieman - Accra.
The Director of the hospital, Dr. Akuamoah Boateng explained to health digest news that the reason for registering the children on the NHIS is that children are the future leaders of the country .So, ensuring their safety is essential to the development of the country.
