BUT POLICE CAN’T DETECT THE CAUSE
The police at Sowutoum who are investigating last week fire outbreak that killed kids instantly and one other person after short a time on admission at korle-bu could not set the clue of the fire.
The police are still investigating the case as the residents are all co-operating. The fire outbreak accurred at around 8:00pm when the kids were asleep others suspected that candle light could be the cause since the fire incident occurred at night when there was no power in the area.
According to some of the residents who spoke to the Health Digest, the electricity came on as a flash light but few minutes after the light had gone off, they saw a smoke coming out of the ceiling where a
27 year old National Service Personnel, Bismark Arthur a.k.a(Burga) who attempted to rescue the four children in a fire outbreak at Nsufa has been pronounced dead.
Bismark's death has increased the casualties to five.
The four children, Lynette Brenya 9, Freda Brenya 7,Terry Akrofi and Ugene Osei Kwame were buried last Saturday.
Health Digest news which captured the scene on that fateful night could not stand the heat in the room after Sowutuom police officers had gathered together all the dead bodies.
Almost everyone at the scene was captured weeping and that no one could talk to this paper.
