Mosquito Bed Net committee inaugurated
A 12-member Mosquito Bed Net Hanging Committee has been inaugurated in the Ellembelle District to plan the sensitization of mosquito net hanging in the district.
Kasoa Health Centre records increased HIV/AIDS cases in 2010
HIV/AIDS cases at the Kasoa health Centre increased from 20 in 2009 to 35 in 2010, Mr George Asante, Medical Assistant at the Centre has said.
They were made up of 9 males and 26 females while that of the 2009 was made up 9 and 11.
Ghana AIDS Commission Launches Surveilance Into HIV/AIDS Among Gay Relationship
The Ghana AIDS Commission (GAC) said on Wednesday that it envisaged that the risk of the increase of activities of gays had initiated a series of focused surveillance activities for HIV and sexually transmitted infections (STIs).
The surveillance is directed among most at risk populations (MARPS).
