Mr George Ahadzi making the speech The president of Green Earth Organization, Mr. George Ahadzi, has urged Ghanaian youth to protect the environment.

Speaking to the Health Digest, he said that, any one who loves nature will do everything to protect the environment in which he lives.

He said “environmental conservation means to care and share whatever you have with your friends and anybody around you especially food, books, clothing or give some to the needy and that will make you an environmentalist.

He continued that the reason for focusing on the youth especially the second cycle institutions was that, students are one of the fastest medium for information dissemination.

He explained that even though most teachers have some knowledge on environmental conservation, Green Earth still trains them to sharpen their skills in order to facilitate awareness creation in schools and the country as a whole.

He said, to change society, you need to target people in order to achieve success in the long term, “ that is why the organization is focused on students in order to bring them to a place where they can appreciate nature as their life support and protect it”.

He advised Ghanaians especially students to do everything in their power to protect and maintain the environment to make students come to a place where they can realize that every damage caused either destruction of desk, pen, pencil and so on.
