The hospital with 8 departments of which 3 wards are for female, 2 for
male, 1 for children and 1 as a recovering ward is the second of its kind that the management has established within the Greater Accra
municipality. This is a place where quality health care delivery cannot be compromised and that the doctors are ever ready to attend to
patients at every hour within the 24 hours in a day. According to the Chief Executive Officer of Mary-Lucy hospital, Mr.C.O. Boateng, the hospital is a special place for gynecology services but
will equally attend to other sicknesses in general. He said the hospital is also an accredited facility for the delivery of health service to
the card bearing members of the health insurance scheme. The hospital can accommodate over 100 patients and that patients around the Ofankor community and Sowutuom are encouraged to seek treatment from the
Mary Lucy hospital all the time since the doctors and the nurses at post have time for the patients. Story: Joyce Quaye
